The Storydisc service

Storydisc creates personalized illustrated album keepsakes using customer-provided photos, text, track lists, playlist links, and instructions. Product descriptions, availability, pricing, and features may change before an order is placed. The price and contents shown at checkout control that order.

Customer content and permissions

You represent that you own or have permission to use every photo, name, message, playlist link, and other item you submit, and that our use of it to fulfill your order will not violate another person’s copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or other rights.

You grant Storydisc a limited license to store, reproduce, edit, illustrate, print, and transmit submitted content only as needed to provide the service, support the order, secure the platform, and meet legal obligations. Gallery use requires your separate optional permission.

Unacceptable content

You may not submit unlawful, threatening, hateful, exploitative, sexually explicit, fraudulent, or infringing content, or content that exposes another person’s highly sensitive information without permission. We may reject or cancel an order that reasonably presents legal, safety, or platform-abuse concerns and will provide any refund required by law.

Proof approval

One artwork revision is included. You are responsible for reviewing the proof, including names, spelling, dates, track titles, and layout. Production begins only after approval. Colors and placement may vary slightly between a screen preview and a physical print.

Music, playlists, and third-party services

The included CD-R is blank. Storydisc does not download, copy, sell, or distribute music. Playlist links and QR codes direct customers to third-party streaming services and must be used lawfully. Storydisc is not sponsored by or affiliated with Spotify, Apple Music, or the applicable artists and rights holders.

Payments, shipping, and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Shipping and refunds are governed by the policies linked on this page and by rights available under applicable law. You agree to provide accurate contact, customization, and shipping information.

Storydisc intellectual property

The Storydisc name, website design, original copy, templates, graphics, and non-customer materials belong to Storydisc or its licensors. Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the Storydisc brand, website, templates, or production system.

Service availability and responsibility

We work to provide accurate previews, reliable ordering, and secure handling, but the service may occasionally be interrupted or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, Storydisc is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or customer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms for future use of the service. The version posted when you place an order governs that order unless the law requires otherwise. These terms are governed by Illinois law, without limiting consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.
